Company History
LabSpinner was established in 2018 by professor Yoon-Kyoung Cho. She is a world-class expert of Lab-on-a-disc technology.
Lab-on-a-disc is one of the best platforms of microfluidics to be useful in real-life applications like diagnostics.
It is because a Lab-on-a-disc requires no fluidic connections which needs to be cleaned after use, and the operation is simplified by removing fluidic pumps.
The technology was successfully applied to nano-sized particle filtration and showed excellent performance with soft biological entities such as cells and extracellular vesicles.
